The City of Philadelphia appeals an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County (trial court), which reversed the Board of Pensions and Retirements (Board) decision to deny William DeBerrys (DeBerry) application for service-connected disability retirement benefits pursuant to Section 206.1 of the Citys Pension Ordinance. We reverse the trial court and reinstate the decision of the Board.
